ABOUT NCSC
The National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC), also known as CSC, was officially launched nationwide in 1993. It aims to spread the method of science among children through practical application and hands-on experiences. The program encourages children to form groups and conduct projects based on given themes, fostering inclusivity among children aged 10 to 17. CSC projects aim to inculcate various skills and qualities, including critical thinking, creativity, and cooperation. Participants carefully observe their local surroundings, ask relevant questions, and conduct studies to address real-life problems with minimal costs. The program provides a platform for children to showcase their creativity and problem-solving abilities using the scientific method. It aligns with educational initiatives such as education for sustainable development and the National Curriculum Framework. Over the years, CSC has played a significant role in advancing science education and continues to inspire young minds to explore the wonders of science for a better future.
